We’ve had a lot of time to think over the last few weeks and we’ve found it’s mostly about food! We see ads for delivery services, apps for takeout, and then the rise (pun intended) of the at-home bakers. Who knew sourdough would be the best thing since sliced...well, you know the rest.
So that got us thinking, yes, more about food. We want to know how you've been eating!
- More home cooked meals. Many folks with new eating habits (82%) have been cooking a lot of their meals at home. Some of the challenges have been keeping it fresh with new recipes and the availability of some foods like fresh produce and fish.
- We’re eating better. Having more time at home is helping folks plan their meals. Going out to eat is fun but isn’t necessarily healthy, now that we’re eating at home more folks (71%) feel like they’re eating healthier meals.
- Snacks, snacks, snacks. We think the real MVP of quarantine has got to be the snack foods. No matter if you’re staying healthy or not so much, snaking is part of quarantine life. From delicious desserts, fluffy beads, or salty snacks, these foods provide a comfort or distraction to our day.
We want to know what snack is getting you through or if you’ve tried a new recipe you’d like to share. Whether you’re eating clean or eating to feel good, we hope you’re eating well. We also want to share an office favorite, Biscuits and Gravy Casserole.
